• Send important service communications (update alerts, streak reminders, or payment confirmations). No spam, ever.
• Enhance platform security & prevent fraud – we monitor unusual activity to protect our community.

We never sell your personal data to third parties. Your progress belongs to you.

AgriAchiever uses enterprise-grade security measures and trusted cloud infrastructure:

• Firebase (Google): User authentication, Firestore database, and secure storage — all encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
• LocalStorage: Some offline preferences (streak cache, theme) are stored on your device for instant access.
• Data retention: We retain your account data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request permanent deletion.

4. Sharing of Information (Third Parties)

We only share data when necessary to operate our platform, improve functionality, or comply with the law. Third parties include:

• Google Firebase & Analytics: Authentication, database, crashlytics (anonymous usage).
• Payment Processors (Razorpay/Stripe/Google Play Billing): For premium subscription management. We never store full credit/debit card details on our servers.
• Vercel & Hosting services: To serve the web platform and ensure fast loading globally.

All partners are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for AgriAchiever-related services. No data is sold or rented for advertising purposes.

5. Premium Subscription & Payments

When you upgrade to AgriAchiever Premium (JRF/AFO prep pack):

• Payment information is processed via secure third-party gateways (Google Play Store or direct payment partners). We do not store your full card info.
• Premium access data (subscription status, expiry date) is stored in our database to grant unlock features (Progress Report, Leaderboard, Challenge mode, Study Planner, etc.).
• You may cancel anytime through your Google Play account or via billing support. Refunds are processed according to the platform’s refund policy.

6. Your Rights & Choices

We respect your control over personal data. Depending on your location (including India under IT Act & DPDPA readiness, GDPR for EU visitors), you may have the following rights:

• Access & Portability: Request a copy of your personal data stored by us.
• Correction: Update or edit profile details (name, photo, email) in app settings.
• Deletion: Request account deletion — we will wipe your learning records, streaks, and premium history within 30 days.
• Opt-out of non-essential communications (e.g., promotional emails).

7. Cookies & Local Storage

AgriAchiever web platform uses minimal localStorage and session storage to remember your login preferences, carousel state, and theme. No tracking cookies for cross-site advertising. You may clear app data within your browser settings without affecting core functionality.

8. International Data Transfers

Our servers and cloud providers (Firebase, Vercel) may process data in multiple regions, including India, the United States, or EU. By using AgriAchiever, you consent to data transfer as necessary to deliver the service. We ensure that appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, data processing agreements) are in place.

For users in regions requiring explicit legal basis, we rely on:

• Contractual necessity: To provide exam preparation & premium features you request.
• Legitimate interest: To improve app performance, prevent fraud and analyze learning patterns.
• Consent: For optional features like push notifications (if enabled).

You may withdraw consent at any time via app settings.

10. Children's Privacy (Detailed)

AgriAchiever is designed for higher education aspirants and graduates typically aged 18+ or at least 13+ with parental consent. We do not target or knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of any such data, we will promptly delete it. Parents/guardians may contact us to request removal.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal/regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date will be revised. Significant changes will be notified via in-app notification, email, or on our website. Continued use of AgriAchiever after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
